Laser coding is an advanced and intelligent product coding technology, but this does not mean that it is not dangerous at all.
On the contrary, these three common wavelengths, including optical fiber, ultraviolet, and carbon dioxide, commonly used in the field of coding, belong to the four types of lasers with high risk levels.

If the laser is directly irradiated to the eye, the high concentration of laser energy will cause irreversible damage. The retina and cornea are highly absorptive to the laser, so when the naked eye is directly irradiated by the laser, even if it is extremely low. Laser energy and a moment of irradiation can cause damage to the eye.

Therefore, when operating laser equipment, you must first keep in mind the equipment safety precautions provided by the manufacturer to ensure correct operation. Even so, you must never look directly at the lens, that is, the light outlet, with the naked eye while the equipment is in standby/to-be-triggered state., so as to avoid causing unnecessary damage to the human body.

Of course, there are also many "condition restrictions" in the laser coding equipment itself to ensure the safety of users.
First of all, the laser emission itself is directional. If the laser head is oriented vertically towards the ground, then the final contact point of the laser beam will only be perpendicular or intersecting the ground, and the laser beam will not be emitted "wantonly" at unpredictable angles;

The second is the limitation of the coding range of the field mirror, which can limit the laser emission range to a specified area, strictly limiting the beam contact range. In addition, the laser control software will test the size and location of the mark content before entering the marking boundary. If it is found that the limit range is exceeded, the software will issue an alarm as soon as possible and will not enter the marking control interface that can trigger laser coding;

The third is the physical emergency stop button. If uncontrollable factors or emergencies are encountered, the user can press the emergency stop button, and the device will immediately stop laser output;

In addition, we will also equip corresponding laser protective glasses for different laser wavelengths to ensure user safety.

But even so, it cannot paralyze safety awareness. If you encounter professional problems about laser equipment, you should contact us as soon as possible and hand them over to our company's experienced professional after-sales technical team on site to solve them.
